Jussie Smollett Update: Actor Spotted Hiding In Public While Going To Restaurant

Jussie Smollett was spotted hiding in public while going to a restaurant on Thursday. The Empire actor claims he is the victim of a MAGA-related hate crime that targeted him for his race and sexual orientation. Two men who were once viewed as suspects and Chicago authorities say that’s not the case. While Smollett is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, it will be up to a jury of his peers to determine if Jussie Smollett faked, planned, and paid Abel and Ola Osundairo to shout MAGA slurs at him, douse him with bleach, and put a noose around his neck, all so Smollett could get a bigger paycheck from Fox Networks.

While Smollett is certainly under fire with millions saying he ruined black history month and shamed those who have been legitimate victims of anti-LGBTQ views and racism, it doesn’t seem to be enough to keep him behind closed doors.

The Internet went wild when the first photos of Smollett surfaced on various news outlets, though it was hard to actually see Smollett due to his hiding his face and ducking behind his bodyguard.

The Blast was first to capture the photos.

Due to the publicity surrounding Smollett when he got out of jail on bail, there’s plenty to indicate that the man hiding behind the large jacket is in fact Jussie.

Besides the bodyguard, Jussie went out to eat with his family and was seen getting out of the same SUV he used for transportation to and from the Cook County courthouse.
